Choosing to lean in to healing
& growth.
I graduated from McGill University (2003) with a Masters Degree in Social Work (clinical focus in therapy and counselling). Throughout my career I have worked in the mental health field and diverse professional settings, ranging from high schools, community health, medical primary care, as well as the Akwesasne community. I have extensive experience working with trauma (childhood/family of origin trauma, operational stress injuries, PTSD) as well as anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, medical/physical, stress/worry, addiction, adjustment and traumatic grief/loss. To learn more about my scope of practice, read about it under my Approach.

Counselling and Psychotherapy Services
My scope of practice and focus is individual mental health, couples and relationship therapy. I dedicate the majority of my practice to Veteran’s, Canadian Armed Forces, First Responders as well as other therapists and health care providers.
Couples
Approach
I have training in a variety of therapeutic modalities which strengthens my capacity to offer and provide integrative psychotherapy and counselling services.

My clinical training and framework includes interventions and techniques grounded in the following: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Hypnotherapy in Clinical Counselling, Exposure Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy (PACT) thepactinstitute.com. Therapies are drawn upon and utilized to design and deliver psychotherapy and counselling that fits with the individual and/or relationship/couple’s situation and personal goals. I work from the stance that individuals, and couples/ relationships can heal from psychological and emotional wounds leading to personal growth and strengthened relationships.
